St. Patrick's Donegal Beard Contest 2010

Contest Rules

We want to see who can grow the best Donegal beard between New Year's Day and St. Patrick's Day. A Donegal is a beard that goes from one sideburn along the jawline to the other sideburn without a mustache, leprechaun and Abe Lincoln style. We were inspired to do this by the documentary "Growin' a Beard" that follows the competitors in an annual competition in Shamrock, Texas. The winner of our competition will receive AN AMAZON KINDLE. All competitors will gain free admission to our St. Patrick's Party which is where the judging will occur. Here are the details:

To compete, you must have checked in with us, clean-shaven, between Saturday, January 2, 2010 and Saturday, January 9, 2010. Clean-shaven means no facial hair. Sideburns must be cut at least halfway up the ear. We will have two categories: people who work here and people who don't work here. Both categories' victors will be awarded AN AMAZON KINDLE. We plan on seeking qualified, independent judges for the finale.
