There's Something About Porter...
That creates a mess! For the second time in as many efforts, we wound up with a huge mess after brewing up a batch of BJ's PM Porter. You may recall my blog on the Dreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald a while back.. (here's my inspiration for the title!)
Anyway... despite trying hard to not overflow the kettle. (949kb, Requires Apple's Quicktime, hosted offsite because I can see how many people look at it...) OR the fermenter. (1.4Mb, Requires Apple's Quicktime, hosted offsite because it's just too darn big), we failed on both counts. Once again we had a huge mess...right before Thanksgiving weekend! Ah well, it's good beer and we didn't overflow TOO much!
