Support House Bill 2094
Why HB 2094 is important to small breweries and to you!
HB 2094 would allow visitors on tours of small Texas breweries take home up to two cases of the brewery’s beer. • This bill will help microbreweries in Texas grow, add jobs and compete with out-of-state breweries that have the same rights in their home states that we are requesting. • This bill will benefit not only Texas microbrewers but also distributors and retailers as more Texas craft beer is sold via the distribution system. In ALL other states where breweries have these rights, total sales through distributors have increased. • There is strong public support for this bill. Our customers have been vocal about wanting to see this legislation pass. The press has been active in following this bill with multiple articles in the Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Fort Worth major newspapers. The Houston Chronicle even wrote an editorial in favor of this bill.
