We are honored to take home three medals and Mid-Size Brewing Company of the Year.
Each year, members of our Brew Crew head to Denver for the Great American Beer Festival. Each year, we have a great time. The years we win medals are truly special, and this year, we are honored to take home three medals, along with the Mid-Size Brewing Company and Brewer of the Year award.
This award is given by the Brewers Association each year to a brewery that brews between 15,000 – 6,000,000 barrels in a year. This is the first time we have received the honor, and we feel incredibly grateful. Thank you to everyone who enjoys our beer – it is with your support we are able to brew the beers we love.
The individual beers to receive medals were Pumpkinator, Amber Ale and Weedwacker. The soon-to-be-released Pumpkinator won a gold medal in the Pumpkin/Squash or Pumpkin Spice Beer category, its first GABF medal (it won a silver at World Beer Cup in 2012). Our original beer, Amber Ale, won a bronze medal in the Original or Special Bitter category, its third GABF medal. Weedwacker also won a bronze medal, for German Style Wheat Ale. This is Weedwacker’s fourth medal at GABF.
Since we started brewing in 1994, Saint Arnold beers have won 24 Great American Beer Festival medals.
Now, we are off to enjoy a beer.
