Think back. Remember the orange stick of sweet crunchy peanut butter and toasted coconut bliss? Yes, we do too. So when our fellow Texans at Atkinson’s Candy Company reached out with a collaboration idea, we knew what had to be done.

We would turn Chick-O-Stick into a beer.

This Halloween, we are debuting Chick-O-Stick Stout. In this decadent imperial stout, layers of rich chocolate and subtle roast form the foundation for creamy peanut butter and toasted coconut, creating a dessert-worthy experience that’s both familiar and indulgent.

This special release beer will only be available at the Saint Arnold Beer Garden & Restaurant. It will debut on draft Friday, October 31 and a limited quantity of 500 mL bottles are available now via presale for pickup also on Friday, October 31. This presale is the only way to guarantee your bottles (details below).

Like us, the folks at Atkinson Candy Company know a thing or two about crafting treats while remaining independent. Since 1932, they’ve been delivering confectionery tradition to generations of Texans. These days, they’re producing candy right up the road in Lufkin, making this a perfect Texas on Texas collaboration.

Friday, October 31 is the only day available for pickup. Orders not picked up that day will be refunded and made available to the public.
